Everyone starts off with the intro class. We do this to teach you in a one-on-one setting all the basics of Muay Thai before starting the group classes. In the intro class you will learn how to Punch, elbow, knee, kick, clinch, foot work and how to block from your legs up to your head. This way when you join the group classes you will not feel like you are slowing down the class and you will be more confident. Plus it will be safer for all the students. You do not have to be a member to do the intro class.
Muay Thai is a form of fighting that originated in Thailand and dates back hundreds of years. It is called the Art of Eight Limbs because it makes use of punches, kicks, elbows, and knee strikes. This is one of the most used martial arts in MMA Competition. We used the Master Toddy Muay Thai system and we teach using a curriculum recognized by the Thai Government. You will always be learning new technique and drills at each level. We used a series of test to see if you have been learning. Once you past the test you will move on to new drills and techniques.

MMA draws from a variety of other martial arts and combat sports such as Muay Thai, Jeet Kune Do, boxing, wrestling, judo, and Brazilian Jiujitsu. MMA integrates striking (punching, kicking, elbows, and knees), takedowns and throws, and submissions by joint manipulations/locks, and chokes.
